OUR MISSION
Making disciples of Jesus who become a family together for the good of our community and beyond
OUR VISION
A Gospel-Centered, multi-generational, multi-ethnic church for families to find their identities upward in Jesus, inward in the Church, and outward in the community.

OUR DNA
THE GOSPEL
We value the Gospel of Jesus Christ which alone has the power to transform lives, families, and communities (1 Cor. 2:1-2; 15:1-58; Eph. 2:1-5; 2 Cor. 5:21)
FAMILIES
We value building organic familial relationships that help us to “carry one another’s burdens” with people who are different from us. This happens wherever organic relationships are built, from each other’s homes, to the street corners, from the shipyards, to the ships that are underway. [Gal. 6:2, Acts 2:46-47, Heb. 10:24-25] Making the family of Christ available to those who need a loving family (Matt. 28:19-20) and nurturing believers towards maturity (Heb. 5:12-13) from ages 0-100.
MISSION
We value working hard with our time, talent, and treasure to bless others, the church, and God himself - “for the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few” (Matt. 9:35-38). We value meeting the needs of our community holistically in hopes that God will produce an abundant crop through what we give to him (2 Cor. 9:6, 1 Pet. 4:10, Lk. 12:48). We value making disciples of Jesus who become a family together in areas that are far beyond our immediate surroundings.
UNITY
We value building bridges between race, age, new transient residents, long time generational residents, etc. We value uprooting division where it exists and cutting it out before it grows. (Eph. 2:11-13, 4:1-6, 13, Gal. 3:26-29, Proverbs 31:8-9, Ps. 133:1, Jer. 22:3) We value unity in the church and unity in the community. Building bridges requires that we, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves” (Phil. 2:3). It also requires that we rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep (Rom.12:15).
DISCIPLESHIP
We value nurturing believers towards maturity and being the greenhouse for people’s hearts to be continually transformed to look more like Jesus. We long to see folks grow holistically in their lives in every practical and spiritual matter. We want to see each believer bear fruit for the Kingdom of God and their community (Heb. 5:12-13.) We desire everyone to grow deeper in their faith and walk in their calling with greater assurance as a result of being a member of RCC. We value being “in the sheepfold” versus lone sheep who are prone to attack which comes through spirit filled worship (Jn. 4:24), the preaching of God’s Word (Matt. 4:4), Praying together (Heb. 4:16), the Lord’s supper (1 Cor. 10:16-17), and other means of grace that enable people to glorify God as a form of his divine protection. Worshiping Jesus helps believers in their unbelief (Mark 9:24).
